Chris Schwarz, associate professor of finance and faculty director of the Center for Investment and Wealth Management at University of California, Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, returns for the third year to the Greater Irvine Chamber Business Outlook event. Schwarz headlines the Chamber's 2021 event, delivering his presentation digitally.

An expert in the field of economics, Chris Schwarz is also a crowd favorite, capturing the attention of large audiences with his knowledge, insights, and good humor about a salient topic. His observations and analyses are more important now than ever before as we look at market indicators to help us make informed decisions for the best possible economic recovery from the Coronavirus crisis.

Schwarz's research on the investment fund industry has been published in many leading academic and practitioner financial journals, cited in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and New York Times, and included in testimony before the U.S. Congress House Financial Services Committee.

Schwarz received a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He was also a visiting doctoral fellow at Yale University's International Center of Finance and received a B.S. from Babson College.
