Name: National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day Demonstration & Vigil
Date: August 19, 2023
Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
Please join us on National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day as FentanySolution.org and our very own Mayor of Irvine have put together a demonstration and vigil to honor all lost victims due to fentanyl poisonings and their families. This impactful event will take place at the Heritage Community Park Gazebo and Meadow, 14301 Yale Ave. Irvine, CA 92604.

Per the CDC, over the past two decades, drug overdose deaths have claimed far too many lives, with more than 250 Americans now dying each day from an overdose. We will have a drone and videographer to capture our demonstration and are looking to have 250 people participate. Make sure to wear clothing you are comfortable in while lying on the grass.

The arrival and 'Meet-and-Greet' is at 3pm. The film, "250 Americans Per Day" will play at 4pm. At 5pm, the Vigil and Sharing musical presentation will start.

Please share this with everyone you know!
