Join the Greater Irvine Chamber Government Affairs Committee as special guest Senator Dave Min representing Orange County's 37th District will provide updates regarding the work he has done during his first year in office and on his committee assignment including Transportation, Energy & Utilities, and Business & Professions. Senator Min has been focused on Orange County's economic recovery and ensuring that our County's long term goals are at the center of our State's relief efforts. In addition, he will discuss the bill he authored, SB 87, which provided 2.1 billion in funding for the California Small Business Covid-19 Relief Grant Program.
 


Senator Dave Min was elected in 2020 to represent Orange County’s 37th State Senate District, which includes the cities of Anaheim Hills, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Orange, Tustin, and Villa Park.

Dave was a University of California Irvine law professor and a former economic policy staffer in the United States Senate and for the Center for American Progress. He began his legal career at the Securities and Exchange Commission to protect the retirement security of seniors, turning down high paying jobs to serve the public interest. Dave is a native Californian who resides in Irvine with his wife Jane Stoever, where they are raising their three young children.
