DCI Engineers Adds CAD Designer, Structural Engineer

DCI Engineers, a civil and structural consulting engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of a new CAD Designer and a Structural Engineer to its Irvine office.
Cynthia Morgan has joined DCI Engineers as a Structural CAD Designer. She brings over seven years of CAD experience in solar, electronics and structural; and is a graduate from ITT’s Drafting and Design Technology program. Cynthia’s previous designs have included residential solar projects throughout Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Part of her responsibilities will include use of Revit BIM for several DCI projects, such as a new five-story Elements apartment complex near the corner of Teller Avenue and Campus Drive.
Vincent Yang, PE, has joined DCI Engineers as a Structural Project Engineer. Vincent will design and analyze structural engineering projects, generate calculations and drawings for city submittals and provide construction support for several DCI projects, including the Marina Del Rey Marriott. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Systems at University of California, San Diego; and his Masters in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Vincent’s primary focus has been on wood and CMU commercial buildings/churches at previous firms and says he looks forward to taking on more concrete and steel designs with DCI.
