Steve Wagner, global managing director of Experian Decision Analytics, will deliver the keynote address at the Greater Irvine Chamber’s fifth annual Orange County World Trade Week (OCWTW) Breakfast and Forum. Wagner was appointed global managing director of Experian Decision Analytics in 2018 and serves as the global business leader for Experian’s analytics, fraud, identity, and decision software businesses. He also serves on the Global Operating Committee of Experian, PLC and as chairman of the Experian social innovation fund, focused on improving the lives of consumers in their markets globally by investing in socially innovative Experian products.
His work with Experian spans over 15 years, where he has served as senior vice president of Sales and Services Support, group president of Credit Services for Brazil, business lead for Global Cross Channel Marketing, and group president of Marketing and Specialized Credit Information Services. His expertise spans the legal, data, consumer, commercial, sales, and services portfolios of Experian within a practical global context.
Prior to joining Experian, Wagner was the general counsel for ERisk, a risk and capital management software company owned by JP Morgan Partners. Before that, he was a corporate and finance lawyer in New York and London leading transactions throughout the U.S., Europe, and the former Soviet Union. He last practiced law in 2000 with the global firm of Clifford Chance, LLP, based in London. Prior to practicing law, Wagner worked as a broker in the international energy markets, and as a special assistant in the office of the Governor of North Carolina.
Wagner is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s in economics and a law degree from New York University, School of Law.
The OCWTW 2019 program will also include a perennial favorite, the Export Success Panel discussion, featuring Jessica Kleinert, international marketing manager at Taco Bell, Harvinder Mudahar, international business manager at Technologent, and Michael Delaney, chief development officer at Worldwide Environmental Products, Inc.
The end of the program will be dedicated to an International Resource EXPO,
OCWTW brings together Orange County’s International-American chambers and business associations, public sector and private trade organizations, and members of business community to grow awareness of the impact of international trade and export in Orange County. Gaining in popularity, OCWTW drew an audience of more than 550 attendees last year, more than double that of its inaugural 2015 event.
