Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in the U.S. after heart disease and cancer, and 14th worldwide. This means over 200,000 Americans die in the hospital because of a medical error each year; this equates to over 4.8 million globally. ONE preventable patient death in a hospital is one too many. Our goal is to reach ZERO by 2020. We're asking you to take action by participating in our 1st Annual Make the Save Charity Soccer Tournament and help us build awareness around deaths in our hospitals that can be prevented.
